When the sun is at just the right angle, the sandstone walls of Hurricane and Zion National Park cast an entrancing glow of red, green, beige and purple. From the RV campgrounds in Utah, one could spend their days fixed in the beauty of the surrounding mountains and quiet valleys. With so much natural beauty concentrated in the small city of Hurricane and nearby Zion National Park, it is hard to imagine life getting any better outside of paradise. Nonetheless, there is much more to see near the RV campgrounds of Utah’s southwest corner.
For starters, why not take in one of the many antique car shows or stop by a local museum. The Washington County Fair and Peach Days Festival are two of the most anticipated events in Hurricane and Zion National Park, welcoming visitors from all over the world each year. Of course, the RV campgrounds in Utah make it just as enticing to plan a day hike, overnight camping trip or even a relaxing shuttle ride through the canyon.
